I have been busy and running around all over the place.

Working on the rally car, helping my BFF with statistics, going to the Noise for the Needy volunteer meeting (I’ll be at the info table at the Tractor on the 11th), and trying out for bands.

Speaking of which, I had an audition of sorts this evening. I played a couple songs and didn’t screw them up. Not bad for playing my last That’s because playing drums is easy. I will now proceed to learn all nine songs in the next…. hm, well, soon, and then proceed to be awesome. I am the best person when I’m in a band.

The best. Think about it. The two women I’ve loved the most both left me after I was no longer in a band. Being in a band makes me a good person to be around, obviously.

But I’ve never been in two bands at once, and I’ve never been in two bands at once and tried to do a solo project. I’ve always had a conflict with being in two bands at once, actually. Maybe just because I got screwed over by being the second priority so many times. I guess we’ll see how this goes.

Right now, I have to go listen to the Exohxo CD several hundred times, just in case I am actually going to pull this off.

In other successes, I just made it 24 hours without trying to view my once certain future. This is good. I think I’ll go ask somebody on a date.
