Band History | Don | Ian | Mark | Morgan ![]() Ian.So as usual its late at night and I can't sleep. Pretty common lately. In any case, you're not here reading this to hear me complain about my lack of sleep. So I suppose I should start out saying how lucky I feel to be a part of this band. It kind of feels like the culmination of years of work. Music has always been a major force in my life. With many thanks to don, I got introduced to many great bands in my formative years (14-18). These included the likes of green day, fifteen, operation ivy, the mr t. experience, etc. From there I got into hardcore, emo and ska. Over time I have been in a few bands. Don and I were in exit 177, and after high school I was in a ska band. While in college I joined winter in august where morgan, mark and I came together for the first time. After winter in august was done, morgan, mark and myself played together with no real direction. For more details on this check out the band bio. Here is some of the stuff a bio is supposed to have. I am 25 years old. I am a social worker. I am married. I like to listen to music. I like to download music. I would rather pay $15 to an indie band on tour than $5 to a major label (interestingly enough I have never faced that dilemma). I like hot water music. And fifteen. And the casket lottery. And leatherface. And the alkaline trio. I like pizza. I like to read (last book finished, 3001, final odyssey). I don't like paying bills. Or racism. Or george w. bush. Or the belief in cultural superiority. What I hope most to accomplish in this band is to play music that I feel says something. Something political. Something personal. Something meaningful. most used equipment:
