Solid mix of words and falling things that your mom would be stoked to play with you.



A decade ago when Candy Crush was blowing up, King was king of iOS casual gaming. Their main game design was to match some things and have some blocks fall down. The games looked nice and had plenty of marketing, so I assume they did well. This particular port of a (checks notes) flash game combined your elder relatives' two favorite casual gaming genres: tiles falling down after matching something and word games. To be fair, it is pretty fun. Or maybe I'm becoming my mom?

The game is simple: make a word, the tiles go bye bye, you get points or move some thing, get enough points or achieve the other goals... time for the next level. Bigger words = bigger points and more interesting things happen. It looks nice, is easy to understand, and slightly increases the challenge as you go along. The biggest drawback is that you can't download it anymore as it has been abandoned as of 2021. To play now, you have to be a weirdo like me with a copy already on your phone or you have to get it in some nefarious way. There appear to be some clones out there but I'm sure they're not as good as the original, right?

So, unfortunately, you won't be able to play this with your mom, after all.
