Oh, it's one of THESE games.



I'm not a fan of the Souls-like genre for a number of reasons. Steelrising is another one of those B-Squad Souls-like pretenders that doesn't really seems to do the genre well. The controls are atrocious, the premise is strange, the UI is too small for no reason, and nearly everything about the game really annoyed me after an hour or so. Annoyed enough to announce to my living room, "Well, I guess that's it for me," and hit that delete button. Actually, I downloaded it from PS Plus by accident, so I guess it is my fault.

It does look kind of nice, I suppose? And I guess the combat wasn't too complex when I could figure out how far my weapon would swing? No, even trying to convince myself to go back I think about the numerous other things I could be doing with my life and Steelrising is going to stay deleted, I'm afraid.
