Impeccable writing and wonderful art propel you through a pretty solid story of a sort of robot you waking up on a space station and finding a place or finding a way to escape depending on how you choose your own adventure (I think). A very accessible gameplay mechanic and effortless style make this game both attractive and easy to play. The world is well-crafted and there are stories and sub-stories to explore that do not disappoint.

That is, if you've got the patience and reading comprehension skills to read all about it. While the minimal soundtrack and wonderful art do their part in telling the tale of Citizen Sleeper, the main storytelling device is blocks of text based on your choices or chances. While I'm not the type of dude that doesn't go see a movie just because it has subtitles, I still found myself hitting skip a bit too often just because I was tired of reading stuff. Honestly, the dice rolling gameplay didn't really add to the excitement for me and the rewards for randomly succeeding were just more stylized pie charts filling up with accomplishments. I played through all the DLC's and the game ended up feeling a bit long by the end as well. I started off entranced by the style and cool of this game but ended up being a bit underwhelmed.

So, if you're into space and reading and don't mind a very relaxed gaming experience, Citizen Sleeper will absolutely do the trick.
