Excellent quick puzzle game with basically just the right amount of what you expect.
Sometimes you don't want to have to think too hard about, well, anything. Maybe you just want to be bathed in a pale blue light while you solve very accessible puzzles that you will be happy to lose or win. In fact, you can try to lose in different ways to fill out your collection of "death" animations and add another layer onto your gameplay experience. And that gameplay is quite simple to learn and pays off in unexpected ways. The main process is you click on some things and try to hide from your sister, whose pudding you just ate. That's it. That's the game.
The graphics are simplistic but fun, the puzzles are relatively straightforward with a couple twists here and there (I beat it without hints, so that seems just maybe a little too easy), and the story is basic but relatable for those with siblings. Everything is pretty great about this game other than the soundtrack and sound design, in my opinion. I found the sounds repetitive and kind of annoyingly so, though I did like the old-school synth tones they got. Maybe they just feel like too much because I just powered through all 30 levels (and 52 game over animations) in a straight 1-hour session when I really should have taken my time. Actually, this might be better as a mobile game played in short stints rather than a console game as it would be perfect to pass the time on a bus ride or something. A game for not thinking too hard, for sure.
This is a fun little game to pick up and playthrough, just maybe play with the sound off.
