donproject (music)
I used to play music.
I've been lucky enough to team up with some dudes and make some noise. I dabbled in drums, singing, keyboard, and other instruments from time to time. I probably should have worked a little bit harder at getting some of these bands to get a little more famous but it was a good time while it lasted. If you like any of this music, feel free to download it or you can also support the site for as little as $1.

The Don Project (2007+)

I made an attempt to learn to play keyboard and write songs but I never really got the hang of either thing.

Fucking Go! (2009)

An off-handed conversation at an awkward party led to me drumming and singing for a single, amazing recording session at a local DIY space with some nice guys.

Exempli Gratia (2002 - 2007)

I sang in a political math-punk band that tried to do some interesting stuff for a while.

Frat Boy Cover Band (2000)

I met a couple nice punk-ish dudes in Berkeley and I played cover songs on a very cheap drum set with them for a couple parties.

The Rivets (1999)

I never wanted to be in the Ramones but somehow I managed to play drums in a Ramonesy punk band for a couple practices before they found me out.

Exit 177 / Happythoughts (1993 - 2001)

I sang and did drum stuff for my high school pop-punk band and we listened to Green Day a lot.
