We did it!

My third time out with Pat Darrow in the very fancy pale grey Volvo and we did a finish! We made it to the end of one of the toughest rallies in the NW, the storied Olympus Rally. This is my 14th trip to my local-est rally and my 6th finish. So, it's been an unlucky one for me and the teams I'm with, for sure.

Not this time, though, Olympus, we got you! Maybe it was the incredible weather (for Olympus), maybe it was the solid car prep by the Primitive Racing folks, maybe it was the strategy and the skill, who knows? We were finished 12th out of the 28 teams in regional, but 22 teams weren't so lucky. A plucky 4th in class added to the joy of the weekend.

Although, looking back on this a few months later as I write this, I don't actually remember a lot of the details. I think we just arrived and got down to business. The focus was smooth driving and I didn't messup any notes that I'm still thinking about now, so I think goals were achieved all around!
