well, i've just completed the national board application process, friends. i just took a 3 hour test (plus breaks) and think i did alright. here's my self-grading:

• algebra: 4
• calculus: 3
• discrete math: 2
• geometry: 3
• statistics and data analysis: 4
• technology: a million

on my portfolio, i think i got at least 3's, so i might not have to retake anything. a silly mistake on the discrete math part was the worst, but i think i recovered okay. also, i didn't know one concept on the geometry part, but i owned the proof. i think i'll be okay.

we'll see in december.

as a present for finishing, barsuk just sent me three Mates of State records. well, i sent them money first, then they sent them to me. but still...
