I’m sitting around waiting for plans to go see a movie with a friend to be finalized. I got to thinking about that Grand Hallway song. Sirens. How damn awesome it is. I got to wondering how difficult it is. Turns out it’s not bad on piano. Well, Don Project style piano.

So here’s my second-take cover of Grand Hallway’s “Sirens”, based on a youtube video of them playing it in the bathroom at a state park. Probably the saddest song ever. I love it. If you get a chance, you should go see them at Neumo’s tomorrow.

I need a band when I get back from Europe. Or, 6 hours a day of playing piano and singing.

If I was doing RCMTC this month, I’d record a bunch of these for my “covers” mix. Somebody would hate it, but it would be fun to do.
