I have spent the last three hours working on an amazing cover song. Except that I can’t get the singing or the piano right enough to post. Tomorrow I’ll be volunteering to help do some gardening at Discovery Park, so I’ll be all pooped out afterward and probably unable to get this thing done. I really wanted to get it awesome enough to post… curse my lack of skills!

In other news, I went back to work today and met 161 kids. My job rules, but it’s draining. So, after I got home and wasted an hour eating ice cream in front of the internet, I went to the beach for an hour or so and read a book. That was pretty awesome. I came back earlier than anticipated because I forgot to eat dinner, so I did that and then read on the back deck until the sun went down.

I haven’t recapped my goals in a while. Let’s check how I did today:

social: talked with some teachers.
physical: walked on the beach.
financial: got paid today?
musical: three hours of piano and singing.

Not bad.

There are exciting possibilities on the horizon for a couple of these goals. The physical one is lacking a bit. The financial/house one… I should probably get a new roommate or two.

I also still need to find a therapist.

And get a solid 7 hours of sleep tonight.

So much to do!
