The ice cold. The gentle snowflakes landing on your upturned face. Snow days for an inch of snow. The windstorms and the pelting rain. The constant “turned off TV gray” (Weakerthans line, not mine) of an overcast sky. Going to work in the dark and coming home in the dark. I love this season. I love it most for the reminders of all the good things we have here. Mild weather year round. Extraordinarily long days in the summer. Mountains and sea and lakes and rivers and trees and green green green. Man, I love this place.

But you ass hats need to learn how to drive. And it would be nice to build a snowman with someone. And I wish I had my full set of backup batteries for my camera so I could take real pictures, but two of them are gone forever now. I guess I’ll just have to buy more eventually.
